1.A few words about Phuoc Lam Pagoda and the volunteer journey with SantaPocket
Amidst the hustle and bustle of life, there are still peaceful places for people to find stillness and nurture love and compassion. Phuoc Lam Pagoda is a place that protects, guides and accompanies many Buddhists and people on the journey of good living.
In particular, all volunteer and donation activities here are completely free, without any fees from the public. SantaPocket accompanies benefactors, hand-delivering valuable donated items to Buddhists studying at Phuoc Lam Pagoda.
The Good Heart Santa group and Phuoc Lam Pagoda made this journey to spread love and kindness to more people, especially Buddhists at the pagoda. SantaPocket acts as a bridge, helping charitable hearts to be sent and handed over silently but persistently.

In the doctrine ofImpermanence (Anicca) and Selflessness (Anatta), Buddha taught that all things and phenomena change and do not belong to us forever. Therefore, sharing what we have does not cause us to lose it, but rather gives it the opportunity to continue to bring benefits somewhere else, to someone else. When we let go of attachments and are open to giving, we not only help the recipient ease their difficulties, but also help ourselves nurture peace of mind and break the attachment to material things. That is the path for compassion to grow, wisdom to be opened and happiness to spread.
If you have a desire to do good deeds and spread love, now is the time to start!
